LastPass Password Protection Software Review
Learning how to protect your passwords online is not that hard in fact it’s super easy and it will take you about 5 minutes an you don’t need to spend a dime.
I’d like give you a first hand user review of the best password protection software that I use to secure my password online.
First I’d like to set the scene with something to inspire you to take action now.
Have you seen the movie Saw II?
Do you remember the pit of needles?
Honestly, I don’t know how you could forget it, but here’s a little reminder for you.
Being thrown into the pit of needles is like using the Internet without password protection software. If you’re not using LastPass to protect your passwords you’re bound to get hacked and have your identity and information stolen.
You don’t want that do you?
So, Here’s the problem!
Most of us have way to many websites we visit on a daily basis. If you’re smart you use a different password for every website you visit. If you want a secure password you use some cryptic password like Da83S2#!a1, but how in the world are you going to remember 50 or 100 of these, right them on piece of paper and carry that around, that’s not to secure.
I even came up with a way to secure all my passwords on an encrypted USB stick and carry that around with me, but I still had to put it in the computer, unlock it, then open my text file and copy and paste the password to the website. What a pain that was!!!!
Then one day I found LastPass!
What is LastPass?
LastPass is a simple piece of software you install and it basically remembers all your login info for every website you visit, helps you generate secure passwords and store them.
Why should you use LastPass?
On the surface it’s simple plugin for your browser, but underneath the hood it’s far from simple. LastPass uses some very strong encryption technology to protect your passwords. Your passwords are always encrypted until you type your master password. So now you only have to remember one good secure password, I think we can all do that.
How to get LastPass?
It’s pretty easy, just visit LastPass. Or if you’re using Google’s Chrome browser you can find it in the extension area. If you download from the website the program will install on all your browsers so that’s probably the best way to go.
Which version should I use??
There are 2 versions.
The FREE version and the paid version. The FREE version works great with no limitations on your desktop.
The paid version allows you to use it on all your mobile devices. The paid version also has some advanced multi factor security options if you’re really paranoid. Here’s the best part, the paid version is only $12 for the whole year!
That’s a cheap price to pay for the security and safety that LastPass gives you!
I use the paid version on every one of my devices both Android and iOS and it works great! It’s really take the fear and pain out of using the internet. It’s the best $12 dollars I ever spent.
Visit LastPass using this link and get a FREE month when you choose the paid version.
